Lonestar Angel by Colleen Coble

this is a book review of lonestar angel by colleen coble.

Five years ago, Clay and Eden Larson's baby was kidnapped and never found. Their marriage ended and Eden moved to a new town. She found faith and is trying to rebuild her life. She is dating a sweet guy who plans to marry her some day. But then Clay arrives and tells her they are still married and that he has found their daughter, who he has been searching for all this time.
So they head to Texas to become counselors at a ranch and they rediscover their love for each other. As they fight to save their family they realize that God has been fighting for them all along.

I really enjoyed this book. It is the fourth book in a series, but it can be read alone. It was supenseful, kept me guessing the whole time. The story shows how God is always interwoven in our life, even when we can't see or feel Him. lay and Eden worked on a ranch for kids and they knew one of the kids was their daughter. They just had to figure out which one. They grew to love all the kids. their was danger as the kidnapper was trying to scare Eden away. Then her family became involved and it just kept me guessing more. It was a great book. She is a good writer. One of my favorites.

book review of Waking Hours by Lis Wiehl

All towns have secrets, some have demons. Welcome to East Salem, a deceptively sleepy town where ancient supernatural forces are being awakened.
A local high school is found murdered. Her murder shocks the town and intrigues forensic psychiatrist Dani Harris. All the suspects are teenagers but no one remembers what happened that night. Each night, Dani wakes up at 2:13 due to troubling dreams filled with blood and destruction.
Across town, former NFL player Tommy Gunderson finds his security system breached by an elderly lady. She attacks him with an uncanny strength, while mumbling in Latin. Then someone he knows is implicated in the girl's murder and he and Dani must work together to figure out what is going on. A heavy darkness is spreading, Yet a heavenly force is also at work.
This is such a good book. Suspenseful!!! It kept me guessing, which I like in a book. This was my first time to read a book by this author, but I will definitely read her books again. It has a little romance in it and humor. I usually am not one for demon books but you can also see the workings of God in this book. This is the first book in a series and I can't wait for the next one.

book review of the lightkeeper's ball by colleen coble

the lightkeeper's ball by colleen coble

Olivia Stewart is a heiress to an empire. Her family is considered among the wealthiest and most distinguished, but their wealth has about disappeared so their security rests upon the stewart daughters marrying well.
Olivia's sister was engaged to someone wealthy, but she died, so its up to Olivia to take her place. But she doesn't trust her sister's fiancee and she sets out to find the truth of what happened to her sister. She finds Harrison not at all what she thought. And of course she is torn between what she thinks she knows about her sister and her feelings for him.
This is a book from the Mercy Falls Series, but it can be read as a stand alone book. I really enjoyed the book. It has a lot of suspense and surprises. It kept me guessing. If you like suspense and romance books you will like this one. I also like how this book pulls God into the mix and His love for us.
